enrollment information
As we are located on Federal property, affiliates of the Federal government are given priority for center openings, however are not guaranteed a position for the requested start date.  At least 50% of the enrollment population must be children of Federal employees, with preference given to Department of Defense affiliates.

If you are interested in receiving center information (Parent Handbook, Brochure, and Waitlist Application), you can e-mail  CastleKidsC@usace.army.mil, or call 504.862.1139.  If you haven't done so yet, it's highly recommended you tour Castle Kids to ensure it meets your family's child care needs.  If you would like to set up an appointment, please contact Castle Kids' front desk at 504.862.1139.
All Department of Defense (active duty) and civilian affiliates qualify for DoD rates for their children, stepchildren, or wards.  For this purpose, a parent is defined as the biological father or mother for a child; a person who, by order of the court of competent jurisdiction, has been declared the father or mother of a child adoption; the legal guardian of a child; or a person in whose household resides, provided such person in loco parentis to that child and contributes at least one-half of the child's support.
